Dental Hygienist

Alison Strong is from Fort Wayne, Indiana, a place she’s proud to call home. A graduate of IPFW in 2003, Alison’s journey in the dental field spans nearly two decades. While her initial interest was in orthodontics, a job-shadowing experience with a friend in dental hygiene shifted her perspective. She found immense satisfaction in the diverse clientele she encountered and in transforming an unhealthy mouth to a vibrant, clean one.

Beyond her professional commitment, Alison’s personal life is full of adventures. An avid nature enthusiast, she enjoys hiking at state parks, tent-camping, and photography. Her green thumb finds joy in gardening and nurturing flowers. Family holds a significant place in her heart; she’s a proud mother of two, Hailey and John, with Hailey recently embarking on her own academic journey in pre-physical therapy at the University of Cincinnati. And John, a student at Snider High School. The family also includes two cherished canine members: Akira, the Siberian husky, and Apollo, a terrier mix. Alison loves traveling, with a penchant for revisiting the mountains of Colorado where her husband originates, and dreams of exploring Italy someday.

“Trust the process,” is Alison’s cherished phrase. She deeply believes that growth and strength arise from challenges and that every event has a purpose, leading to life’s puzzle falling into place. Alison embodies these words, always greeting patients with a radiant smile and a gentle demeanor. We’re thrilled to have such an inspiring and dedicated individual as part of our team and eagerly anticipate the years of growth ahead with her.
