As a dentist, much of my job consists of educating patients. The one hour you spend with me or my hygienist is hardly enough to learn and educate you on proper care technique and dental care. Let alone remember everything we try to squeeze into the short appt. It’s taken us years to perfect the trade, eight years is how long it has taken me to complete my degree.
While we don’t expect you to become dental experts, you can leave that to us, we do want to provide you with resources to make better decisions for your dental health. As a solution, we have come up with the Clean Series. Each week we will share various tips and tricks to help you improve and maintain a healthy smile. Some will be basic reminders, some will be more elaborate examples of treatments and procedures. We will have guest posts from our hygienists, give you first-hand opinions about new dental products on the market, and also share resources for you and your family from the American Dental Association.
We can help prioritize your dental routine and help you make better choices with oral health, saving you time, money, and pain!
Remember–dentistry is not expensive, neglect is. We will help educate you on why this is a common saying amongst the dental profession so that you can become more knowledgeable and realize the impact of your day-to-day practices. We hope you enjoy the Clean Series.
